INALAB 2024, together with Food Manufacturing Indonesia 2024, Chemical Indonesia 2024, Smart Factory Indonesia 2024, and INAPHARM 2024 will be held on 30 July – 01 August 2024 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia. Indonesia as the largest market for the laboratory industry in the region is very potential for health-related needs. Based on the introduction of general health insurance in 2014, there is a huge number of Indonesian people who are entitled to health care, which reaches more than 220 million. The health care includes laboratory tests and very soon, all 270 million inhabitants will be entitled to benefit from it.

There are nearly 2,900 hospitals in Indonesia. Many of them have laboratory facilities. Normally, the facility belongs to the hospital itself. However, in other cases, they are providing services for laboratory groups. There are 142 of its medical facilities in 126 cities. And according to the Ministry of Health, there are around 1,300 medical laboratories in Indonesia, 80 percent of which are private.

Chemical Indonesia 2024 :

Indonesia is targeting to be in the top 10 world economies by 2030. To achieve this target, the government has prepared a strategy to encourage the chemical industry to implement Making 4.0. The chemical industry and its goods are included in the priority industries, which makes it the basis for national and world economic growth. And this industry is included in the top 3 major contributors to non-oil and gas processing which plays an important role in the growth of the national manufacturing industry.

To achieve Indonesia’s Vision 2045, the government must increase the contribution of the manufacturing industry sector to a minimum of 26 percent of GDP, where the contribution of the chemical industry, as part of the 10 Priority Industries, is 13 percent of GDP. The successful development of the national chemical industry requires synergy between the government, industry players, academics, and researchers.

Chemical Indonesia 2024 is a B2B event which will be held from 30 July – 01 August 2024 at Jakarta International Expo, Kemayoran, Jakarta – Indonesia. This is reflected in the achievement of Indonesia’s manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) in October 2022, which was at the level of 51.8. A position above 50.0 indicates the manufacturing sector is in an expansionary stage. The government emphasized that based on the Making Indonesia roadmap, the food and beverage industry is one of seven sectors that are being accelerated to adopt industrial technology 4.0.
